[Checkers] romaybe => ropoly?

Thanks for putting your finger on what was so bad about the name "ropoly"
(which I also found hard to parse).

I like "readpoly" best so far, though it does have the disadvantage that if
you look at it very fast, it looks a lot like "readonly" -- just transpose
2 letters and change "n" to "p".
