[JSR308] Annotations on statements (and expressions?)

Ted,

  Out of curiosity, how .NET languages deal with verbosity and other 
issues you referring to? If I am not mistaken, it does have support for 
the annotated code blocks at least in C# language. Do you know if that 
information also preserved in the CLI bytecode?
