I realize that this email message fell through the cracks.  Sorry about
that.

These are good questions.  I believe that my opinions are less informed
than yours, so I would be perfectly open to whatever you think is most
sensible/useful.  I've also copied this message to the checkers mailing
list in case anyone there has an opinion.
